I remember getting to Gorewood on my way to the first dungeon, he slapped my shit silly, yet I still managed to beat him with my underleveled character after a shit ton of tries.

You'll notice that when you keep replacing your armor for better stats (defence and stuff) does help you survive gorewood's attacks, i kept assaulting him, kept pressing the primary attack button, dodged his root attacks, and when he finally dropped i got his hammer... still have to level for it though

There's a trick to avoiding his root attack: jump and do air combos, as long as you're not on the ground, roots cant get ya! ^^

I beat gorewood at lvl 2 you just have to doge his long range attack and us savage armblades took me 15 tries because his short range attack was and still would one hit me

Beat him at level two without even beating Thane, accidently ran into him. Took me a few goes to figure out his patterns and chip away. Reminded me of Dark Souls

I think: Strength = phisical attack damage Arcane = wrath skills attack damage Defence = physical defense Resistance = magical defense hope this helps

If you are talking about the "Chaos Fang", you have to have beaten the first Darksiders game and have that information on the hard drive where you are playing Darksiders 2. You get them by talking to Muria.

I had trouble with the root attack at first, but if you lock the camera on him and move in very small circles, it can't turn sharply enough to get you.

I was thrashing this level. Once you go to the locked door and cross under the balcony all the way to the right, I missed that the wood went up, too. I like figuring things out myself, so I stopped watching there. Thanks! BTW, I'm doing the Thane bosses because I'm grinding. I'm up against a too-high level boss further on and need to advance first. Thanks again!

I just started playing the game and I'm only lvl.3. I accidently found him while exploring and managed to beat him thanks to a fire lance I had gotten from a chest about 5 seconds before the encounter. Is that going to cause problems down the line when I actually get the quest for him?

At like lvl seven cause i didnt know i could fight thane, i was like yeah this will be easy,then took me to a lowerhealth,btw you dont finish the match after you die but at low low health,

I know this is very late but I thought it was funny when you said stalkers were easy to fight depending on your level. I'm currently a level 21 so it definitely was lightwork 😂 Thank you for the upload. So far the hardest side boss I had to fight was Argul but like you said these type of bosses depend on how well you time your dodges/how good you are at them

i had trouble dodging that attack too. i found it easiest to dodge that frenzy plant like attack by literally dancing around in circles. soo easy to dodge after i figured it out. hope this will help other ppl too.

To dodge the root attack you really need to be behind him.That is how I evadeed the roots.

Same.. on apocalyptic aswell. Died about 5 times before doing it (at which point i actually died to roots he had sent out before dying, but got the loot nonetheless)

ok i wasnt a huge fan of the first game but this game looks awesome seems like they really improved it. a lot better graphics the various types of secondary weapons so u dont just use a greatsword all game and various armors. not to mention improved gameplay. would you guys reccomened this game cuz i plan on getting it soon.

It just to tell you how rare a item is Green = Common Blue = Rare Purple = Elite Yellow = Legendary (Possessed weapons aren't considered legendary)

i know a way for him to not attack you in reaper mode, just upgrade your ghouls so gorewod will attack them and you can attack

I've been looking for him since I started playing this game when it became free a few months ago and I stop playing a few weeks after because of the confusing gnome in the kingdom of death.....but just now i beat him with like 7 hits lol after since im lvl 18 or 19 but he was totally weak.....but all in all its probably best to wait to do these until you beat achidna and get her special weapon since it heals you when you fight which is the only way i defeated the deposed king

I tried taking him down at lvl 2.. got him down like 1/4 or 1/3 if I was lucky.. Too much work constantly dodging and it's practically impossible on such a low level!

That boss is real easy if u just look for what he will do when he do his fast uppercut attack he scream so just jump to the side. when he dose his rot just run around the rot in a realy small circle the rot cant move from side to side very fast just be close to it but not to close and ur done easy.

Gorewood was a bitch to fight at low levels, but I finally managed it with a few pieces of resistance gear and using the ranged attack on armblades. Roll and shoot, roll and shoot.

I fought thane, after one try I figured it was just to practice and he is unbeatable, I later ran into Gorewood as I was exploring that side-dungeon. I ended up constantly fighting him for an hour and a half and finally defeated him at level 2. I didn't know he was a boss given to fight by Thane!

u did it at lvl 2? You do 10x more dmg than me and im lvl 2;p also he 1 shots me, with anything ;p he's not bad but basically takes 10x as long as your fight with no room for mistake
