How would you decide how long the capillary will for this project or for the other domestic refrigerators? Thanks.
@JDNelRefrigeration11 ай бұрын
The length of the capillary is not very important. The thickness of the copper tube is more important. The higer the pressure of the gas that you use, the thicker the cap tube must be. for the length anything between 0.5 and 4 meters on the water bath is sufficient.

Hie please can you help, I have a freezer room which isn't really performing like its supposed to,when I switch it on at times you find within a short space of time you find the suction accumulator,evaporater coil are all iced up and then most times again it just sweats and struggles to drop the temp am supposed to be making ice blocks but it's quite a struggle any suggestions as to what could be the issue

It has to be tested by a technician, I cant tell you what's wrong with it without testing it.

Hello do you have any videos on repairing internal leaks on a chest freezer
@JDNelRefrigeration3 жыл бұрын
The cost to repair an internal leak on a chest freezer is higher than the replacement value. So I do not do that type of repair, but I have seen people line the inside of a chest freezer with evaporator plates, or various types of tubing

Question for ya , i have been learning about capillary tubes and air drier’s and someone showed me a picture of a filter drier set up with 5/16 copper tube coming from condenser to drier then going to 3/8 copper tubing for evaporator with no capillary tube , my question is will this even work ?
@JDNelRefrigeration2 жыл бұрын
The reason for the capillary is to build up pressure in your condenser so that the vapor gas can become a liquid. The liquid gas evaporates in your evaporator which causes cooling. If you can achieve that same affect with all your different tubes, then yes it will work.

It has to be tested and the tests will reveal the problem.
