Hello thanks for your detail video. i had a problem with feyree product. 2 sockets of plug was melted in car side after charging and i could not remove them from car side. What you think caused this?

@2:48 Those cheap micro-finger terminals wear out after like 12 months of use and get dangerous. I had a J1772 using them and it would get *HOT* at the car side after charging at 32A on a cable rated for 40A.

@@renhotec4533 Type 2 plug is meant for 3 phases. 2 phase system does not exist, only split phase in US.

​@@MladjasmilicType 2 connectors are widely used for single-phase too. Single-phase only cables are cheaper and lighter. (pins L2 and L3 unused). In France or the UK, almost all home chargers and a good half of public ones.are 7kW/32A single-phase. Some cars only charge single-phase anyway. On my Wallbox, even the plastic molding for the two bottom pins is absent.

@@Mladjasmilic Well done! You're right 3 phase means less copper if you spread the power equally between phases. In France it's getting very rare for households, it's mainly for businesses and farms. To supply my 7kW Wallbox, I used rigid 3x10mm2 because I had 34m to go, it's hard to bend and expensive (I could have just used 6mm2, but since I was digging a trench I prefer oversizing).
