hello Jan , same hear got snow next three days melting and now it’s raining. This weather is something awful wish it make up its mind.😅😅😅. Wow the Juno sure is a pain in the behind. Needs greased that brush or about to have it changed out for a new one. That was nice and easy to clean out corrals. Wow you’re getting the snow . We barely got snow something fishy about this weather it’s odd. We usually get slammed with snow before and after Christmas and new years . Make life easier and safe as possible is what you mean Jan working with your hands in machinery that has electric running to door’s . Can’t wait to see if you get more snow and we will be getting rain.

We got 8mm of rain out of that storm in Saskatoon. As you said we don’t need it - at least not until summer when rain is welcome. 🙏

Your struggles with the slush remind me of what the wildlife must go through. They count on good, cold snow, but slush and ice change the game. Love the way you keep your spirits up.

Hey Jan.... I see one of your familiys Top Jobs is to shovel out the bunks... why you dont have an Old Tire matching the Bunk form mounted on a Beam that you can grab with the Forks on the Loader and just push the stuff out to one end?

As a lifelong backwoods redneck in lower rural SC, I'm happy to keep it for a while. Helps kill off the skeeters and flies some. Allegedly temps'll drop even further round Christmas. Supposedly not above freezing for a few days with north wind. Guess we'll see. Great time for a good old fashioned hog killin, if so. We'll be back to hell hot soon enough and missing these days. As Granny always said, this too shall pass.

Last week we had over 5 feet of snow! It made a mess. Our bunks were full. It took over 40 barns down within at 25km radius of my place. It took my brother's pig barn down we spent 12 hrs pulling fat hogs out of trusses and insulation. It sucked!

Hello Jan, is it not an option for your bunks to be covered? so that they are somewhat protected from snow/rain in the winter and the sun in the summer. 👍🇧🇪

From the looks of the size of your manure pile you may need to hire a contract solid manure spreading contractor in the spring.

I noticed I never hear any of your cows Moo in any of your videos. Curious as to why. Is it a bred out of your breed? Do you remove vocal cords? Or maybe they’re just so happy they don’t need to moo? Love the channel!
