@@akazachanneljo9554 No, it’s not like Van Gaal. There’s multiple different systems that focus on control and possession. Rangnick’s teams play very similar to Klopp’s. And that’s way more attacking and fast flowing compared to Van Gaal’s.

I love that he's a football guy and his emphasis on "control" tells a lot, something that was lacking in the Ole era. I never felt like we were in trouble vs. Palace because of that "control" factor, never felt like anything could happen like in the past. And he's such a fluent communicator as well, very confidence inspiring. I can't wait for the next games!

It's very significant for me as a literary student that Ralf had graduated as an English literary student! I think his character of being a man of letters in the first place helped him develop his football philosophy due to his sharpened sense of criticism which he implied in his assessment of the game, and that to me is impressive.

We have one of the greatest coaches in the modern game. I have been crying out for this type of football since Sir Alex left. To get a united on the right track he might have to manage for 2 or 3 years then move up and appoint the new manager.
