Unfair really doesn't need to be made "nicer". Any "take that" cards have a choice between a positive for yourself or an attack for your opponent. Unfortunately, it's almost never more beneficial to play the "attack" side, as the positive side is almost always the better play.

I agree that Funfair is a solid introduction, but Unfair wins the day for me, simply because it has so many expansions with new themes!

I went all in for Unfair, so I don’t feel that I need to get Funfair. If I want a nicer Unfair game, I just use World Peace, so we aren’t attacking each other.
