Not every matches will run smoothly as you wish it is. Moonton matchmaking sometimes make you had either bad teammate or powerful enemy.

For Floryn, you'd want to ignore defense and go Magic Power and CDR. She only has 5 item slots, so better make full use of them, and stay in the backline.

You don't want to be food to ling, fanny, haya, gussion, and aamon too much. So still spare some defense item if the enemy is really good at going backline or your team doesn't have tanky heroes.

@@omnirico Winter truncheon is enough for teammates to rescue you, and Blood Wings' shield and + HP is a good def buff already. If that is not enough, it is a good use of your ult to delay your enemy's backline hunter and save your MM until your team has enough time to kill the attacker. And you'd have no hope if an enemy who is good at chasing catches you alone. Floryn has almost non-existent damage even when in full Magic Power build, and has no escape tools. Beefing her def up on these situations is just delaying the inevitable. You can only pray. But of course, if a slightly tanky Floryn works for you, then I won't tell you it's wrong. Pure Magic Power Floryn is just what works best for me.

@@omnirico the only defense build i use for floryn is depending on the enemy, i usually go with Antiqur Cuirass and Immortal if there's a lot of skill caster heroed, but in late game i remove Immortal to Radiant Armor because of the current mage meta being a continuous damage rather than burst.

I use NoD and Fleeting time instead of Enchantment Book and Dominance especially after they change NoD's stats, because of it she's no longer need to recall a lot in early to mid game! The Regen Reduction on nod is really good too, i hope you use a different build! Her Heal is based on Magic Damage she has, so i think it's really good to put 2 Magic Build that is NoD and Fleeting time, the rest is a defense build (depending on enemy)

Revitilize is a buff to Floryn and Rafaela since both their heals aren't that powerful on early game, also Floryn shines the most with Tank Junglers , (an as Beto said Faramis mid and a healer like Estes or Floryn is insane) And 2 tips for someone who wants to starts with healers 1. Don't build oracle, it only works on the user, in this case yourself, so it doesn't do anything for your team 2. Don't be scared to help the EXP lane especially if the turtle is on their side, most EXP laners are sturdy help them and you'll have a sturdier frontline quicker

I still think oracle is nice, you get a LOT more heal for yourself, if the enemy doesn't have many burst heroes it's really good and better than a different defense item, it also has 10% CDR which is super neat for pretty much every support. If you're consistently higher health you also indirectly increase the heal for your allies because you won't die as much and favor will prioritize them. Look at OhMyV33NUS using support he uses oracle most of the time, he recently used glory and i believe he also built that cmiiw

Florys in sespecially good when the team tends to teamfight far from each other (diving heroes, and long range marksmen), as her first skill heals can reach the fighters in front, even when she’s way in the backline keeping the mm safe… and the ult heals your allies no matter for faraway they are.. something estes couldn’t keep up with

Try floryn damage build you can deal so much damage, best is to combo it with Johnson midlane also on damage build so u have still a tank kind of and together u can burst trough everything

Instead of Mia the enemy team should've had lesley, building lesley with true dmg is such a underrated combo and even with having 2 defensive items she can still hit 2k true dmg easily. For build i would recommend to go in this order: boots, berserker's fury, endless battle/thunder belt (the order for these 2 is if you are struggling against the enemy physical mm then go for belt, if not endless battle) and you have 2 free slots in which i would either build 2 defensive items or 1 defensive and wind of nature (for the lifesteal + extra attack speed).

Mia and Lesley are both pretty bad in a comp without a chain CC tank, against betos teams comp. It never got late game enough that Lesley's burst would have done more than floryn's heal, and faramis ult is Lesley's nemesis. Hard to say which composition would do well though to be fair. A team with both a faramis and a healer is legitimately insane to fight unless you have a team that switches smoothly between poke and dive. Martis and minotaur would have been gamechangers to be fair, if they were'nt actually quite bad.

@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx You don't even need to play that much to get that amount of bp, max 2 weeks of casually playing and you get that amount and you also have the 2x bp cards when you win, also just because Mia is free that makes her one of the best picks. Also you don't even need that many heroes to fill all the roles, let's say if you have 20 heroes of a mix of categories then you are all good. Also it's always good to have at least 1 character (preferably 2)you like/are good/comfortable with from each category, that way you will always be able to fill the required roles in teams and be comfortable with the pick you did. For example for me for characters i am comfortable with are: -mm: Hanabi, clint -fighter: balmond, alpha, aulus, karina (for jungle) -mage: gord, vale (valir as a support type mage) -support: rafaela, nana -tank: tigreal, franco (maybe Edith if our team needs a hybrid) You don't need many characters to use to play all around and you should just use your bp for characters you like playing as (and you don't have)/expand your selection in different categories. I started as a Hanabi main (pre-rework) then Karina and now they 2 are my picks if i want to have the best chance of winning

The reasons she is a bad support compared to others: 1. She has 1 less item slot meaning 1 less item to actually be useful in the early game. 2. She lacks the versatility of other supports which gives heals and buffs. 3. She lacks CC, Estes also lacks CC but at least his CC stays for much longer and affects the fight more. 4. Her ult healing is just one burst instead of continuous. 5. She needs to hit something to give healing.

Actually the survive rate actually matter on a Tank. Since that represent you know how to position as a Tank/Roamer, of when you need to keep the fight and when you need to start retreating. And ofc, as the initiator of the teamfights if you die when you are starting to retreat in the right time that means your teams are just searching for the kills instead of saving the teammate after making a nice work. Which can decide the lose or win of a tf.

Floryn actually has decent utility and heal for such an underrated support, who shines the most in a team that relies on lifesteal. The only real thing holding her back is the lack of one item slot, which is crucial for any hero. They did buff her special item, but it isn't nearly enough to make up for the gap in defense and health that is lost due to that item. Her stun is decent, and her map-wide heal is the only one of its kind, allowing her to save you at crucial moments (though angela's presence is much better overall) She is also limited by the fact that her heal needs an enemy target or mob to actually work. Other than that, she is not as bad as you'd think, and can be played in high rank if paired up with a suitable team. I've also seen a dmg Floryn once before, and was shocked at her high dmg, it's kinda wild.

I use aegis or sprint on Floryn but in most cases, I use flameshot for more keel securing power. Since revitalize follows the user now, I might try tanking for my team for once 😂. I build COD and Lightning Truncheon when I feel like contributing to our keels.

The Revitalize buff was so subtle I didn't realize that my Hilda/Minotaur never leaves a trail of Revitalize buff in the ground anymore. I'm kinda pleased by this because the Revitalize healing will only buff Hilda's passive by quite a lot.

Been using revitalize on her and with maybe 10% of her life remaining, revitalize plus her passive plus guardian helmet plus oracle will surely replenish all your lost hp.

Try to fight him near a bush to at least mitigate his damage and also when he just taps his skills, he may miss hitting you when you go in and out of the bush. Also, there is this trick to heal faster with Hilda's passive. Just try to go in and out of the bush and you'll notice that she's healing faster than staying inside the bush alone. Lastly, it wouldn't hurt to build a counter item so that even when Lancelot does his full combo on you, you can just left the battlefield completely unscathed.

We play trio in rg and all of us are mage user haha. But after adjusting to support, I can guarantee how big of a help is floryn on your team. Im gonna buy mathilda next, she's a better support for me because of the shield and the heal if you use roaming item, plus she doesn't rely on team fights, you can solo an enemy if you want

For me Floryn is the best support. She is my main with Angela. She has way more flexibility than a Rafaela. Her Stun has less cd then rafaleas and she can Heal over the whole map what alsow deals damage to nearby enemys. she is faster then estes and her S1 is always a group heal if the team is all together. I am no pro player but I can´t understand how a estes or a raphaela is considered better suport then Floryn maybe it´s my playstyle but I am way better with her.

Floryn isn't very popular because people can't cope with her reduced item slot. like any healer, Floryn is great in a sustain focused team like the one in this match

Somenthing more with Floryn is that they are not focused on trying to get their passive maxed soon as possible, since her passive makes the big difference over a tf. And people who puts mvm speed by emblem on her, since it's 10%. And her item when its maxed already gives 10% as same.
