Nice progress. Nothing like having Family to help you in your dreams. My Dad helped us when we needed some building and I will forever cherish those memories.

Acro props, steel lintels, cut the old bit wall out, concrete foundation and repair the wall.

I could rebuild it but at what cost is it not just better to build a new one and in a location that I want it in. Also not sure the county would give me the okay to build new walls being that it is so close to the road. When it was build that was a dirt road and private.

Great to see Tina join in with the hosting of this episode, I gather she is a bit shy, but she does a brilliant job and should back herself to be in front of the camera way more often! Love your channel and your family!

hi there tristar i have a question. cant you use most off the parts on the second barn to build the thing you need on the first barn? if so then you can save alot of money i think. have a great day ! :)
@TriStarHomestead2 ай бұрын
Nothing really would need to be transferred over. The white barn has good bones, just needs a roof.

We have catfish and bluegill. Grass carp are possible but I don’t think needed.

Fresh coat of paint on that barn and it will look almost new. The barn that’s falling down couldn’t you build a 2x8 wall inside of the barn than you could take out the bricks. Seems a waste to take it down.
@TriStarHomestead2 ай бұрын
I could but I don't really need it. It really has no use other than hay storage and I guess I could store equipment but by the time I framed new walls, added siding, new roof, leveled the floor, I could probably build a new barn the same size for the same price or cheaper. And in a place I would want it.

Just need to take the rest of the trees down by the barn
@TriStarHomestead2 ай бұрын
They are privacy for now until our fruit trees can get a bit bigger. Our neighbors, for whatever odd reason, are afraid of theft and have a massive spotlight shinning right at those barns at night. We are protected by the trees we left and the barns for now.
