And I say the same about them. Beautiful, rich culture. I wish them well. Their naivety about politics makes me cringe and cry. Watching them vote against their own best interests is like watching your child run onto a busy highway. The difference is, none of us have any right to judge them. We have to bite our lip, say a prayer, and not let it keep us awake at night.

its is very hard to watch this seeing how happy the son and wife are with no knowledge of what is coming or how their life will change.I am not Jewish but I am praying for the peace and comfort for the family right now. You have managed to capture the sanctity of life in this video. I know this must be to hard. Perhaps later and not in this particular situation you might be able to discuss with someone the cultural of grieving and death in this community so that we all can learn. I know you could do it tastefully with respect to all parties involved. Again not right now as I solely wish for comfort and mercy for all parties involved (including you Frieda)

I love my Jewish worldwide extended family (and all people everywhere) which is why I watch your program and respect you so very much. I struggle with understanding how married women can shave their heads and then wear a wig that looks just like their real hair, but I don't judge them. I struggle with understanding how women can do all the work in the family while men study, and they don't feel resentful, but I don't judge. I didn't grow up in their culture, and they didn't grow up in mine. I know there are many things Hasidic Jews see in the secular Jewish world that confuses them, too. As long as we focus on love and a shared history, it is not necessary to share the exact same views and beliefs. ... Watching religious people support Trump is like watching your child run out in the middle of a highway after telling you their Superman cape will keep them safe. The innocence, the naivety, the absolute ignorance of politics and current events, makes me cringe and cry. Watching this video is physically painful. Because religious people shelter themselves from so much, they live in a relatively news-less bubble. These lovely people are taking Trump at his word, blissfully unaware of his sexual assaults (for which he was convicted), his attempt at overthrowing the U.S. government in a violent coup attempt which killed civilians and police officers, his squandering of hundreds of millions of dollars in multiple bankruptcies, his racist/homophobic/anti-semitic and cruel comments about every minority group in America, his long history of breaking the law resulting in dozens of pending lawsuits against him, and so much more. I could fill volumes, as can most Americans and others who follow politics and current events closely. To say Trump has borrowed Hitler's pre-World War II playbook is not hyperbole, rhetoric or exaggeration, it is a fact which many well-regarded Historians can educate them on. His alleged support of Israel is not about caring for Jews, it is merely an expedient way for him to win over the southern religious right voters in the United States that believe Israel must be in the hands of the Jews before their savior Jesus returns. Then, according to their prophesy (in the book of Revelations), only 144,000 Jews will be saved. They say nothing of the rest, except they must convert to Christianity or face eternal hell-fire. There are no words to explain how this video sickens me, yet, I still will always respect and admire Frieda for who you/she is as a human being. I cringe when she says she does not care about politics, which is the same as saying, "I don't care about health care, human rights, bigotry, poverty, environmentalism, public health, etc." because ultimately, that is all politics is -- the workings of the government to protect and care for the people. Frieda, you are a beautiful soul who brings light into darkness, kindness into hate, understanding into ignorance. I don't have to understand absolutely everything you do to love and respect and admire you. If not following politics is your worst flaw, you are already better than most people I know. I wish you all the blessings the world has to offer.

Trump’s older daughter converted to Orthodox Judaism. Her children are being raised as Orthodox Jews. DJT questioned but ultimately supported her conversion. DJT is certainly more supportive of American Jews and Israel than the alternative. KH and DJT are equals in the s^xual sin department. DJT is much more intelligent than KH.

Hi Nancy, you seem like a loving and non judgmental person who many can learn from. I just want to clarify that women do not shave their hair, besides for a certain percentage of specific Chassidic sects. And I also want to clarify that our men do their fair share of work. All men are expected to contribute to childcare and household chores, especially if they're studying, they'll do the bulk of it. Personally, my husband and I both work and therefore we share the domestic work and childcare evenly. Yes and no. Frieda is correct in saying it means a non-Jewish woman, but you rarely hear the word mentioned in a positive way. It is usually in a context like, "Did you hear the Grossman's boy is dating a shiksa?! Oy gevalt! Vey iz mir!" (Woe is me. What a tragedy!)

Everybody but the tiny cult called Neturei Karta support the Jewish people. Some such as the Satmar do not support the State of Israel. The Israelis they pray for and support. October 7th was the biggest tragedy of all of our lives.

A more nuanced reply: most Hasidic Jews do not support the state of Israel since it was founded by an atheist, and they felt that it goes against basic Jewish theology. However, we all have family in Israel, and feel the anti semitism growing. So, we don’t support Israel or the government but we pray for all Jew’s safety.
