Everybody is cooked, especially disabled people who cannot just “opt out” of things like medicine, temperature control, and for some accessible housing (so living in a car is not an option for some.) So many things seen as luxuries for able bodied people, are things disabled people need to survive or get by. And if y’all can’t even get regular food, imagine having to buy specific foods due to allergy, health issues, etc. We got work together to get all our needs met. None of us deserve this.
@specialtwice49753 ай бұрын
That's the key; "we gotta work together to get all our needs met." I can see a hypothetical future of 4 roommates and a dog living together, a big Indian family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, mom, dad, siblings) all in one big giant house, 2 couples living together to save up to buy a starter house, two single moms living together to make ends meet, to raise their kids. I think gone are the single days unless you can afford it. Family and friends are gonna have to move in together.

Everybody should know how to hustle on the side for some extra cash. That extra cash, I usually save up for my next journey. But those extra funds can be used for a bill between paychecks if need to be. If you can't pay your bills, than you're living above your needs period. That’s the largest debt I have, as I’m only 21 years old and the only debt I plan to ever really have as far as schooling or out of true necessity. Not everyone has that cash money in their hands as well as the skills or the physicality to just up and make more money. But those are just excuses to you right? Ok Ignore the rising costs for things that are totally not worth what they’re being charged right now. I put myself in debt right in the thick of Covid because of just a few dumb ass decisions ( rent/a stupid school program I never finished and buy now pay later) to much time truly by myself and yeah I’m really sad over it because I was completely good before that. Before this. I’m literally in a hole and I have no clue how to get out this mf

STEPS TO BECOME DEBT FREE: 1. Stop blaming yourself!!!! 2. Be honest with yourself about the debt. 3. Take a deep breath. 4. Get a full accounting of EVERY SINGLE debt that you owe in dollar amount. 5. Next to the debt, write the interest rate that you're paying. 6. Did I mention, take a breath??? 7. Call each company, especially if you're in default. Try to negotiate the debt. Anytime a bank doesn't have to chase you down, they're more willing to work with you. Ask them for a "SETTLEMENT OFFER". Document who you spoke to, when and what was said. 8. CHANGE YOUR SPENDING HABITS!!!! 9. After you've negotiated your debts, make another list using your online banking or credit card statements and track your expenses 10. Cut expenses on eating out, streaming services, storage, hair, nails, get a cheaper phone plan, public transportation (even if you have a car BC depending on where you live, you can get a $100 bus pass for the month. Much cheaper than driving every single day and gassing up at $40-$50 each time multiple times per month), etc. And remember, there's ALWAYS a cheaper option. You just have to be open. Eg. Ditch Netflix/Hulu for 6 months and try Tubi/Pluto (they're FREE, for now!) 11. Give yourself about a month after you've cut those expenses. As long as nothing catastrophic such as a car accident hasn't occured, you'll see some extra money in your budget. 12. Download a debt tracker on your phone, tablet computer. 13. Input your debt. STAY CLAM!! 14. Use the extra money to pay off the smallest debt that you negotiated with the lender. DON'T FORGET TO NEGOTIATE BC IT'LL SAVE YOU $$$$!!! 13. Your lenders should have sent you your settlement offers. See what they're willing to settle for. 14. Organize them from low to high. 15. If the debts are extremely old, the may not be open accounts, thus may not generate interest but you may still have to pay "fees" on them. 16. Enroll in deferit.com $15/month This is the ONLY subscription I feel like you should have!!!! It will pay your bill for you and you pay them back +interest over 4 weeks, I believe. You have to build up to a higher borrowing amount but it's a start. 17. Remember this is grind time so you need to sacrifice!! 18. If possible, pay them back sooner than they require so you can tackle the next debt. 19. Rinse and repeat until debt free!! 20. Sometimes we may need a float loan until payday. Enroll in Earnin. They will also boost your borrowing power the more you use them. 21. Be kind to yourself. 22. Please spread this knowledge to as many people as you can. 23. The rich help the rich stay rich. Who TF is helping us?????? If we're going to make it, we HAVE to help each other. Race, politics, personal conflicts, social standing be damned. We're all people FIRST!! **Best of luck to you baby. You'll be just fine!!
