I too find the death of the CV sad. I think Ford should have put money into re-designing the CV instead of killing it. The CV had a huge market share for years, and the new Taurus doesn't seem to be doing as well. Where I live, the Dodge Charger has pretty much taken over the police fleets 100%. Fords and Chevys are becoming a rare sight, and this is in the Northeast, where you think the AWD Taurus would have an advantage.
