That's because many residents in the Hawkesbury haven't lived in the Hawkesbury during a flood, because the last one was in 1990. AV Jennings, HomeWorld, Masterton, Long Homes, Landcom all didn't start building on that farmland until after 1996. Now, the HomeWorld jingle should be "There's nothing like swimming out of your 20 year-old home, from HomeWorld!"

@tan dan NO, just stop importing people into Sydney. The population has "grown" in Sydney because the Federal Government imports them & the "greatest Olympic Games ever" looked great on the TV & foreigners all wanted to move here. Building houses on farmland, that's farmland because it was floodplain was a money-making project of GREED. Now those people who built houses on the floodplain in Western Sydney want BILLIONS of dollars spent on raising Warragamba Dam wall, while the people of Bourke, Merriwa, Cobar, Cowra, Tamworth, Lismore & Tenterfield get NOTHING!

Fires go right over and we can look after the forests, no fire build up, blend into our environment. Everyone has a awesome view and we save on heating and cooling year round. This is our own fault because we are too stupid and mindless fools. This is the most ridiculous form of development in the world. Solar power and hydro power generation along the rivers. Look up historical floods before you start screaming about weather control. We learnt about this in primary school out bush, the big floods devastated the farming communities. Maybe it just wasn't important enough for you to look into. The crops will be bumper after this because the west has not seen falls like this in decades so it will be a positive. Hopefully the feed will increase to enable a good spring for herd development after the drought and bushfires but with the loss of stock from the floods look forward to expensive beef and lamb.

It's called a solar minimum, (or could even just simply be probability/chance). Research John L Casey. The elites know all about it(the solar minimum). Global warming was a lie, the carbon being the problem is a lie, but the solar minimum is real(It's the sun driving climate fluctuations, it is cyclical). The solar minimum will also increase floods, droughts and earthquakes, and other things(like decrease worldwide agriculture production), they don't know why the solar minimums do this, but looking back on the records of history there is a substantial increase on these things when the solar minimum are Happening. So the evidence(for all these increases) is not in some hypothetical data or computer modeling, but rather in the historical record for past solar minimums. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmXNnnSCpZKgj8k
