I always find it interesting how Tim Currey has been on both sides of the ecological spectrum. First he played an evil cloud of smoke who wanted to destroy the environment (Hexxus), then he played a TV documentary host who wanted to protect it using eduction as his main tool (Nigel Thornberry). He was a great boon to show business and he is missed. Update: Wait, Tim Currey voiced Darth Sidious/Palpatine in Clone Wars?! Holy crap, I didn't know that!

Fun Fact: Tim Curry was actually going to voice the Joker in Batman the Animated Series. But sadly he was rejected because the test audience stupidly thought his voice sounded "too scary", and he unfortunately got replaced by Mark Hamill and his Joker voice made us audiences scared for 3 decades straight until he retired from the role out of respect for Batman's voice actor Kevin Conroy who sadly died this past November. Plus Batman the Animated Series had plenty of dark moments already so replacing Tim as Joker is the most hypocritical and stupid excuse ever.

As an Englishman, I find it really amusing that British people with an RP accent(Received pronunciation) get cast as the villains. Many find it an intimidating accent that radiates intelligence, intrigue and sophistication. To me, it sounds like every bloke I meet at the country club, suburban supermarket or theatrical society. Tim Curry is an awesome and perfect example of the English villain stereotype. He plays all his roles with utter conviction and clarity. He always offers a sterling performance. He even uses his wit and natural satirical humour to his advantage. Simply magnificent.

Boy is Tim Curry’s career of his Voice Acting Days vast, using a British or American accent for most roles (he’s good at both as usual). One voice role that it'd be perfect for him would be Doctor Doom from the 1990s Fantastic Four Tv-Series. He had the accent down, the dramatical tone and a tone of voice deep enough to be intimidating. Plus he always loved to play dramatical villains (Tim Curry), so this would be perfect for him.

Tim Curry is a great (voice)actor, his IT performance is 10 times better then the new remake. also had no idea he played a role in brutal legend, that game is great!

Did you know he has a severe case of Coulrophobia? It was so bad that he had a clause in his contract that there would be no mirrors around while he was in makeup for Pennywise

I have vague memories of watching Disney's "The Little Mermaid" series as a kid, yet vividly remember The Evil Manta, who scared the crud out of me. As an adult, when I discovered that Tim Curry voiced him, I was like "Oh, no wonder!" XD!
