Yeah I don’t fully understand it either, I mean one of his arguments is that you don’t get attacked by Talon mercs or the like but I mean really? At this point in the game with his build they’d be like 2-3 shot headshots maybe, so that doesn’t make much sense. There was some other thing with the speech perk but again, speech is so easy to raise naturally it just doesn’t make sense to go neutral purely for those two things.

With the crouch speed build I discovered an interesting glitch. If you jump while crouched and moving and then uncrouch mid jump for as long as you are in the air it puts the crouch speed multiplier on normal walking speed which triples your speed allowing short bursts of insane speed.

Nope, base fallout 3 has dubbing in quite a bunch of languages, but in at least a few of those languages, DLCs are exclusively only subtitled. Even those DLCs that don't bring back vanilla NPCs

I never understood why in the base game Sarah can’t survive anyway, I mean she’s wearing power armor if she just put a helmet on she’d be basically rad-resistant, or heck even the player character could survive if wearing power armor. In my first play through back when I was like, 14, I sent Lyons in instead of myself. My reasoning was that since she was wearing power armor she had some protection to radiation that I just didn't, improving her odds of getting the job done before expiring, and maybe even having a shot at getting out alive. Of course that wasn't how it worked in the base game, but it actually was how it worked in broken steel, since if you send in Lyons she ends up in the infirmary but alive. So I guess that's something even Jon gets to learn today, is that if you have broken steel literally nobody can ever die in the purifier. Lyons is fine, she's in a coma until the end of broken steel. Go check the citadel infirmary.

You can definitely poison the water and then nuke the Citadel in Broken Steel and doom the entire capital wasteland essentially. As to rewards, eh, not that great- the best revolver in the game, but otherwise turns out nuking all friendly civilization to shreds isn't that great for your pocket.

So dealing with Talon became part-and-parcel of the whole Fallout 3 thing. And eventually became one of my sources of obscene wealth. The end of fallout 3 put such a bad taste in my mouth the first time i played it. I was expecting something like fallout 1 or 2 where theres a point where it doesnt tell you where to continue the main quest. So after a very short time I get to the end with fawkes by my side wondering why I couldnt send him in. Just had a lot of vibes of "you will follow the story we gave you vibes!" I also wouldve loved to let colonel autumn win in some way

I think that the idea is that it's that in Enclave ending, everybody didn't drop dead immediately, but died slowly, over the next several months, while Lone Wanderer was running around, tying up loose ends.
