@@springrollwang4441 The Three Kingdoms Period has always been popular since ancient times, considering how several ancient chinese poets referenced them in some of their works. That and the many many live-action TV shows made in Hong Kong since the 80s, with China currently dominating the release of historical live-action TV shows (most East-Asian TV shows in general tbh...) Popular for the west, most certainly. In Eastern Asia, less so.

@benjaminmiddaugh2729 5 жыл бұрын
@@raptorcell6633 I didn't mention any countries by name, so your reply gets a partial discount in relevance for assuming that those were who I was thinking of. That said, Russia has enough territory in Asia (and residents of historical Asian ethnicity and mindset) that I would still count them situationally. Japan is, I believe, on the same tectonic plate as Asia; it also has historically been grouped with Asia when discussed in terms of what region it belongs to; I think we have valid grounds for counting it, as well. Korea, Vietnam, China, etc. are all in Asia and have all fought land wars, both with themselves and with their neighbors. The context for my original response, of course, was that the game takes place entirely within China, which gets a built-in partial exception, since all intra-Chinese wars are (of course) in Asia, and not all have turned out to be blunders for those who started them.

One small thing that I love is that Three Kingdoms allows you to occupy a settlement without reducing its level (see 25:18). Warhammer always reduced the level of a settlement when it changed hands, but now if you occupy only, you get to maintain that level.
