Leaving you to clear out the rest of the han and secure the peninsula or whatever else you want to do.

I don't know if you realized, but Kong Ron has a passive debuff ability that makes enemy heros not be able to use their special powers. Maybe you shouldn't keep him away from the fighting all the time.

One turn later the event for Taishi Ci pops up and you are given the choice to recruit or send him to secure an alliance with Liu Bei. He comes with a Warhammer like bow. It acts like Alith Anar's bow. Multiple explosive arrows every shot.

The problem I always have with Chinese stories referring to a number of something being ten thousand is that, to my knowledge (any people who are more familiar with Chinese than I, feel free to chime in) they also use that number as a general term for "many". So the whole "An army of ten thousand men!" could either be an accurate description of the army's size, or it could just as well be "There's an army here, and it's really large! Really really large!"

Late reply but as someone who's played a ton of this game, the AI does not care about military access. They generally ask and when you refuse, they just trespass anyway (Liu Bei included). Might as well get money out of it

It was pretty frustrating seeing you not use all your diplomatic options, especially as you're playing Kong Rong. Why didn't you try and form a coalition/alliance with Liu Bei and ask him to attack Huang Shao? Why didn't you try and see if you could grab Langye town in return for some food or something, when Liu Bei was moving on the fishing port (thus giving him no reason to take it)?

Langye is Liu Bei's capital - you can't trade away your capital. And don't worry - there's loads of diplomacy to come...

Jon do not pursue Lu Bu. Lu Bu can solo an entire full stack army . if you see him on the map run away. if you can't run away then flee the battle. if you can't flee then duel him. your general will die but it means lu bu kills your general and not the entire army.

They are supposed to be balanced by having less ammo, but ammunition buffs are way easier to get than in warhammer. Not to mention jon is playing a ranged specialist.

When defending towns don't put your units on the capture boxs, put them slightly in front so the enemy aren't neutralising your towers while fighting you. Also you leave your archers too far back to punish their archers properly, this is especially true of your crossbow men who would shred their archers since they have no armor. EDIT: The whole time he had the lumber yard taxes turned off and never even remembered while complaining about money. Was expecting him to realise by the end of the clip.

If you are looking for more income you can check the quick deal for trade in the diplomacy tab. You should have a few new people to trade with because you can make trade lines up the yellow river

Mrorome people truly don’t understand/comprehend the scale of China and the length of time it’s been around. Just look up the numbers for most casualties in wars in history. Chinese wars literally hold the majority of the largest death count over the 2 million mark in history, that’s ONE country killing amongst itself compared to wars/conflicts that span continents/numerous nations.
