I can’t stand the mannerisms. Another Lang Lang in the making, not good for classical music! None of the legendary pianists like Rubinstein, Horowitz, Zimmerman, Argerich, Pletnev, Arrau, Michelangeli needed mannerism. There is movement in their playing, but never excessive movement!!

Drága Édesapám - aki egy "tanulatlan", de kiváló zongorista volt - ezt is játszotta otthon esténként és most könny szökik a szemembe újra hallva Csajkovszkij andalító zenéjét! My dear father - who was an "uneducated" but excellent pianist - also played this at home in the evenings and now I have tears in my eyes hearing Tchaikovsky's moving music again!

@@shirleyhare6177 Hey ,it is not Mao that replied you, you don't need to feel guilty about it. I'm not sure if Mao will see your comments, but your intention is good, I bet Mao will gladly accept your compliment. Also Lang lang is a pro pianist , we all have our taste and preferences, some people may not like lang's playing, but we should acknowledge his dedication. It's sad to see all the hatred toward him.
