@@marymagdalineflores9909The PD100 has a slight edge in sound quality, and you can use it in XLR mode. But it will require an audio interface. The DGM20 is the best at active noise cancellation, which the PD100 does not have.

Amazing review, thanks Dave! Keyboard and table 'noises' didn't get rejected much though, otherwise other noises are canceled. Not sure if important to other viewers or you, would it be possible to test the pick-up pattern of the microphones, at least for future videos?

HI ER! Great to see you again! What kind of test would we have for the pickup pattern? Do you mean how much it captures sound from all sides, so perhaps rotating the microphone while having a constant sound?

I had this micrphone right now, just do some enhancement on the mic using any software that you could use, it makes it much more better recording quality. btw, im using this mic with banana voice meeter, and it sounds great with some enhancement.

Fantastic review! I was thinking of getting this exact same mic for recording, but i saw some reviews about it being great for its price point only thing was that it wasnt as good for recording. I would like to hear your opinion as if this would be a great microphone for someone who just started.

@shubhendupl yes it does but not those which are too loud. You can set the gain. If someone talking normal outside your room the mic cancls it but it do effect the audio quality a bit. Also what are you using it for? If for ganingit will catch the keyboards clicky sound and also if you tap your table it creats a boom sound if mic is mounted to table.

For raw audio quality, I like the A6v just a little bit more. But the dgm20 has noise canceling, which is super helpful!

hey man, i understand this is more for gaming and podcasts, but what would you recommend for singing? what I'm trying to find is a noise cancelling microphone like this one that's geared more towards musicians who just want to record vocals and such, and no instruments. I have a fifine k683a and it has a pretty good sound quality but it captures quite a bit of room noise, the fans etc. and also, people who are yelling 30 feet away also get captured in my recordings. got anything in mind?

If that's the main use case, I wouldn't recommend it. The gold standard for audio books is the Sennheiser MKH416. There are other options, but they would all, like the Sennheiser, require a professionally treated booth.
