Great review man. Spot on. Just received mine today. Excellent budget option which is exactly what i needed. I suspect that some audio tuning in post will need to be done to get these on par with more expensive mic sounds

If you bought two of these, could you connect both of them to one receiver? Or would you need to buy the dual system one?

Hello Brother , are there battery indicator in the transmitter and the receiver so we can see the battery life ? How long do you charge the battery in the transmitter & the receiver from zero to full capacity ? What are the pros and cons of Maono WM820 ? I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon Brother. @@gregtoope honestly I think they are worth the money. There may be times in post that you will have to get the sound right. I have found that if you set your camera volume right, and throw some quick headphones on to make sure you sound good. You can then Set it and forget it (never have to adjust them again).

when the lav mic is used does it cancel out the built in mic? or they both cpture sound?

Love the idea of the wireless mic. I would need a dual set though. You can certainly tell the difference in the sound quality with the internal mic. Not too sure I like the quality. The lav mic was not much better. Maybe it just needs some balancing or something. But based on my perception of the sound quality, I would pass on this one and stick to my Rode camera mounted mic.

Hello Brother, can i record a video + audio with Maono W820 wireless mic and Vivo V21 4G native camera app or i must install third party app called Open Camera to be able use it properly ? I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks

Did not like the sound, no punch, no base, and very flat. I think the best audio comes from the regular iPhone wire headphones that used to come in the box. I still have one of those that I still use for indoors voice over, and nothing can top that apple wired headphones that came with the old iPhones. The one I have has a lighting port end and it came with my iPhone 7 Plus. I still cant find anything that surpass it.
