I got my kirituhi done by JP when I was in Rotorua which I cherish. This man is a treasure and a genuinely humble and very knowledgable person. Getting to meet JP was the greatest priviledge and highlight of my travels across Aotearoa.

If your this judgemental towards the look of his tattoos in essence you're being hugely disrespectful towards his cultural background and the fact that his tattoo represents his own background story, journey and his Mana to wear it with pride. Put simply you don't deserve the right of privilege to wear one. You obviously don't have no idea about Maori people culture. Instead of searching the web for a so-called cool design that you hsvent a clue about try looking for yet another off the shelf un-personal commodity item such as a handbag or jewelry item that's more suited to you cheap judgemental tastes. If you made a disrespectful comment and bagged somebody else's tattoo to endorse your own in our culture I'd cut that symbol deep off your body and hang it on my wall as my trophy. Be very careful when you rubbish another's cultural tattoo and journey - those judgements come with serious consequences you dumb mf
