I like it. Refreshing spec to see mahogany used, particularly in this depth which I've come to prefer greatly over 6.5". At least Mapex's prices haven't risen to ridiculous heights like some manufacturers. Always appreciate Russ's playing too. He knows how to extract great tone from drums and cymbals.

Are the bearing edges 45 degrees. Some sites say a different degree on bottom
