thanks for the update! I love how you say a bit about the type of tree you are working on and how it's care might be different than others. Learning why I am to do things helps me so much.

Looks like it's been together for years. What was the mix you used for the compost? I've got 15 Japanese larches that I bought from you to make a group planting , but I've not started it yet, not sure what compost to use

I am preparing to start Red Maple forest with 11 saplings ranging from 10 to 15 inches. My question is what size of plot should I be looking to get. I don’t want one too big or too small. PS. Really enjoy your videos. Bruce

I absolutely love this project. I have begun to start my own. I have plenty of seedlings but where do you get your bare root seedlings from? Ordering in winter?

Dear Corin! May I ask when did you start feeding these trees? Got 25 of these japanese maples....can't wait till February to create something like this beauty😊😊

Thanks so much for that followup. I have a forest with 5 trees right now but next spring plan to add 5 more to fill it out. I wish I had access to a cold greenhouse for aftercare but nowhere in my backyard for that. What would you suggest for aftercare when a greenhouse is not available?
@mamagrazi3 жыл бұрын
I would say somewhere sheltered from wind and rain

Would it be very unusual to plant 3 different maples species as a group planung?
@greenwoodbonsaistudio3 жыл бұрын
yes, unusual, can look a bit mis matched to the eye. I've done dual type groups before.
