We need Kampf, believe it or not for defensive zone face-offs. Paccaretty i would have never invited to pto. I always though he was over rated and and he has declined in the last number of years. I hope it was just injuries, but time will tell.

My ideal game 1 lineup Knies-Matthews-domi Robertson-Nylander-Marner Patches-Tavares-Cowan Mcmann-lorenz-reaves Rielly-tanev Benoit-Mcabe OEL-hankinpa I’d be trading kampf/jankrok/holmberg let dewar be the extra FWD.

Pacioretty will be playing on one of the top 2 lines. Huge mistake to put Knies on top line. If Knies gets the benefit with racking up points with Mathews will cost huge next year to sign him. Knies one more year on 3rd line and a cheap 3 or 4 year bridge contract.

Goaltending is my main issue. Injuries will happen but to not have a proven goalie that is healthy... yikes.

I think they'll give Cowan the 9 games and send him down. I don't see Pacioretty as an everyday player, so they'll probably rotate players in and out of the lineup depending on who is playing better. I also can't see Nylander being at C, he just isn't defensively responsible enough. I'm more excited about Berube and how he'll stop catering to the stars they have and holding them accountable for lazy play.

agree. let him get use to getting hit by big dudes. but suspect he'll be in come playoffs. Unless they make a big trade mid season
