I already see the comments about the penalty kill. The Leafs are not going to use him over McCabe, Brodie, Bush, or Benoit. Hes going to play a limited role.

He's a defenceman that weighs more than 200 pounds and can skate. That's a rareity on the Leafs so I like the move. This guy makes life hard in front of his own net...another thing the Leafs lack.

Trading for a left d without term is not what I had in mind, maybe they flip him? Not many right hand d are available tho either. Larson, Parayko, Dumba, are the only ones that come to mind.

Thank you for the content, Andrew. I like this trade as I recall playing Montreal in the playoffs and Chairot/Edmundson gave us fits and bruises. I feel this provides us with another player that will lessen the intimidation factor that is evident in the playoffs (especially in the East).
