Gosh Moosie that looks so good. I like the way the chicken looked after being marinated. I don't think there's been anything you've cooked that didn't look fantastic! Hugs!
@Anonymoose9 жыл бұрын
+imperceptibleme It was great, Melissa! And the leftover second one was just as good today. The flavor is so good, I wouldn't hesitate to let it marinate all day, to soak up that much more of it. I'll also double the recipe for the marinade next time. It was an excellent sauce / gravy, and I wanted more of it. LOL Hugs!

You had better luck than I did with a stir fry recipe I tried yesterday. Yours looks delicious.
@Anonymoose9 жыл бұрын
+Marc Perroquet Sounds like you came out on the short end of the date with that stir fry. This one is definitely all win. Next time, I won't hesitate to marinate it all day, and I'll double the amount of the marinade. The sauce / gravy was great, and there wasn't enough of it. LOL

This is a very Canadian dish. ( I'm Katy Debecks just switched names) glad u enjoyed
@Anonymoose8 жыл бұрын
I was guessing it was probably Canadian, because most people south of that border don't use maple syrup like this. Actually, most people down here don't even know what real maple syrup is... LOL Thanks for stopping in! And most of all, thanks for the recipe! I've done it several times since this video, and it's become a favorite.

+Moms Vlog80 Hahaaa! Thanks, Mel! Glad you liked it. I had to put my own twist on it, and I have the advantage of being both retired and single. If I want to spend all day futzing around making a cooking video, there is nobody around telling me I can't. Bottom line, though, this recipe is some good eatin'!

Bottled lemon juice John? I thought everyone who lived in the Sunshine State had a lemon tree in their yard?? L@@K at you Mr. Fancy Pants and your beautiful presentation!! Mighty, mighty fine meal!!
@Anonymoose9 жыл бұрын
+TheWolfePit Ha! Squeezing lemons is too much like work.I actually did have a lemon tree, until hurricane Charley blew my shop over on top of it and schmushed it. LOL I've been watching way too much Gordon Ramsay and Master Chef, and noticing presentations. Maybe I'll live long enough to get good at it. LOL Thanks, Larry!

Can't go wrong with too much garlic in marinade. Looks very good John, Almost like honey glazed chicken but with maple syrup instead of honey
@Anonymoose9 жыл бұрын
+Louisiana Cajun Recipes (007bondjb) Hahaa! There is no such thing as too much garlic, especially in a marinade. Next time I do this one, and it'll be soon, I'm going to let it marinate overnight. I don't think even that will be too much. It *is* similar to a honey glazed, but the taste of maple really kicks it up a notch. Next time I'll also be doubling the amount of marinade, because it made such a good sauce / glaze, and I wanted more of it.

That does look good an easy for me to do =D How did you know I was going to ask for broccoli? Oh no you dripped a spot of sause on the counter =O Did you really eat it all! BIG HUGS
@Anonymoose9 жыл бұрын
+tweetnes Yep, it's both easy and yummy, Irene. You should give it a shot. You had broccoli breath, so I figured you'd been sneaking it behind my back, so I just went ahead and served it. LOL You just had to notice that dribble, didn't you? You'll note that I licked it up before I did the final shot. :-) And yes, I ate the whole thing. LOL

Woah! Those are HUGE and plump chicken breasts! They cooked so well! Patrick does chicken very well - moist and never dry and that is the way yours looked. Your meal looked delicious! Even the eggs… my egg allergy has returned and I am 'off' eggs for the moment. I'm hoping it goes away soon. - roc
@Anonymoose9 жыл бұрын
+popparoc46 Haha! We grow 'em big down here. Those were close to a pound each. And yeah, they cooked up beautifully juicy. You should get Patrick to try this one. You'll love it. I can't imagine having an egg allergy. And yours comes and goes? That would be a royal mess, never knowing when it might just show up.
