My 74 had a 318 with 2:55 gears and even with a Carter 2 barrel it had no top in . It by far was not only my first but favorite car . Hope to have another someday.

Nothing today sounds this awesome and aggressive. They're good in their own right but I'll always take old school over new school!. And if I won a newer challenger hellcat I would sell it to buy an older challenger honestly lol.. This has all the trim of a Duster. Dodge Dart Sport/Demon had either slotted tail lights (70-72) or two separate (73-76) and a more pointy nose. I wonder was this VL or LL in the vin. Love that Mopar sound, no matter. :)

Back in the 80’s I had a Dodge Demon 340 4 speed - but this Dart is so much nicer and sounds great. Definitely with you on taking the long route back to the lot!!! Did you find the quarter on the drivers seat?

That 360 should smoke the tires🤳It could be highway gears, or wrong torque converter. That's cool it is a Dart Sport Duster clone. 1st time seeing one of those🤓I'd get rid of the flex fan & put the stock clutch fan or electric fan on it. The horn is connected to the gas pedal🖖🤓🏈

Sure its a nice car, but there is something not right with the suspenion. Just after 12:25 the car rides over a bump in the road and the bump was felt in the steering wheel.

It's much more of a hassle to use a clutch on a low gear than high i noticed!! Just to do 60 or 70 for fun the good thing is you don't have to shift past 2nd to do it!!

It would be a beast!! I had the 340 in a barracuda and it was beyond fun to drive! The little 340 was built way beyond stock and it would slaughter a well built 440. They are a higher Reving , lighter weight engine that will just kill a big block when built right

I know its a year later, but I believe this same car is for sale by Streetside Classics, mileage looks like it only was driven 500 miles since you test drove it. Do you know if its the same car? Are there problems that are making whoever bought it from you sell it so soon? Based on your video I'm impressed with the car, but don't want to buy it if he's selling because he had issues. Any reply would help

I'm not s fan of the 360 but I 💕 Dusters and Dart Swingers and that motor sounds nice of course mine wasn't built that 318 its better stock motor than the crappy 360 in my 73Charger it was a SLUG 😩

360 in 73 was toned way down. Emissions as were all of the American muscle cars that year I had a 74 cuda with a factory performance 360. It was rated at 265 horse. You have to do all the work yourself in those year cars open up the heads etc. yes they even the factory performance motors were slugs. But 360s are awesome engines.
