I saw Cleaner Chevelles all with power steering, power brakes go for about same price at Barret Jackson a lot cleaner. Of course, you have to pay there 10% buyer's premium. I saw a lot of happy faces at Barrett Jackson this past week great deals.

I remember being a kid and riding in one of these the dealer loaned us when our '68 Chevelle (307) was in for service and my mom had a heck of a time with that heavy clutch, always barking the tires and/or stalling it. Baby brother and I thought it was so much fun. 👍

I had one nearly exact as that one. Mine didn't have the white stripe, and I had the Turbo 400 trans. Same color, LeMans Blue. I also had the big 396, the 375hp version.

Great looking SS! I believe it was repainted a '90's GM Indigo Blue, the original Chevelle dark blue was Dusk Blue which had more gray in it. I like the white SS side stripe! This will sell fast at that price.

Looks like LeMans Blue, which was one of the colors offered on the 69. I had a LeMans Blue SS similar to this one.

Cool car, one of my early memories as a young gear-head is asking my father why there was spaces in between the burnout lines on our street.. “Son that guy caught rubber in all 4 gears” After that I took the family VHS camera to car shows filming cars leave in the 90’s. Then I discovered Worcester Nationals burnout heaven. What a kid would do to see burnouts pre KZbin

Ya, That little brake problem is what caused me to flip my 67 K-code mustang three times end over end. So if you are lucky enough to get this car, Be smart enough to have it hauled to the brake shop before you drive it.

Ah, my old Hurst hand grip from my 69 Ranchero . The only thing that ever beat that 351 was a block wall on Warner Ave. In Huntington Beach. It started right up with its rear axel over the swimming pool. My Buddy snuck into the wrecking yard & got my Hurst Handle for me ?😂

This car isn’t a SS. If it was it would be a 138 at the beginning of the vin. Pictures show it’s a 136

And yeah my first cousin Terry Ball was coming back from st Charles d Drunk going close to 160 miles per hour before he made it back home to Elba Minnesota he flew from the the road to the other side of Lazy D campground it was Candy apple Red he went from one side of the road to the other side and when the car landed the kragor rims broke on them when he hit the other side of the creek

Not a legit 69 SS. 70 or 71 steering wheel... probably why the horn doesn't work All SS Chevelles came with power steering. Sketchy patch work. Makes one wonder what other issue have not been addressed properly. Looks very nice.... but it's not a true SS, and not worth more than about 25 or so.

Nice car. It has a replacement floor pan and the welds look sketchy. Stop video and look around the hump and the firewall, from underneath. 7:54 - 7:59 / 8:22 - 8:25 not even welded at the rear from underneath. Unibody cars need that for strength and integrity to combat torque. I would have to look under the carpets. I have a 71 Charger and I can tell you some of my surprises. We all have stories. The Chevelle should show good.
