I've seen the intervention scene so many times and I still cry every single time

Going forward, remember this moment. Gretchen and Elliott offered Walt an out. He chose not to take it... This is a show about choices and consequences.

Why does Walter do anything? Ego.

Remember in eps 1 when Hank said that Walt had a brain a size of Wisconsin? Well apparently his ego and pride is much bigger than that.

Never realized that almost no room in this show has lights on, but it still looks normal

This is the best show ever written.. I hope you keep going until the very end. I'm enjoying watching through new eyes even though I have watched so many times.

the 1st season is short because of the writer's strike that happened so that's why it's short and it also kinda ends a little abruptly

Unlike most tv writers, they actually deserved more money!

Any question that starts with why about Walt the answer is pride

I think he realized how much she is worring about his cancer and what him dying would do to her pregnancy so he thought maybe he could try to survive long enough to see his daughter be born and make as much money as he can to leave her, and maybe that's why he changed his mind

The first season was cut short because of a writers’ strike that was going on at the time. It had severe ramifications for the story and the show would have been completely different without it!

Great reaction. So many things I would like to say in responses to things said but don't want to risk any spoilers.

A lot of people wondering why Walt didn't take the money. They say it's about pride. Sure that's part of it. But remember how he said his whole life he felt like he had a say so in anything. Imagine if you're in his shoe with limited time. I think this was his last opportunity to correct his regrets in life.
