As someone who’s favorite fictional villains are both Dio and Springtrap (as well as Tricky, which lets be honest would fit in this battle just fine given his connections to both characters), you honestly have no idea how happy this video makes me. Given both of their skill sets this is genuinely such a fun matchup, so fun in fact that you could quite literally forget the obvious stat stomps and still be satisfied with the interactions itself afterwards. Like, Springtrap using his illusions to counter Dio’s timestop, the phantoms and the world attacking each other even though by the rules of their series probably shouldn’t even be able to interact with each other at all, to William Afton hijacking the GODDAMN ROAD ROLLER? This animation is honestly a service to both franchises and their communities, I’m glad you reflected both of these maniacle geniuses intellect in battle. I like how Springtrap didn’t even necessarily “win” nor did Dio exactly “lose” either, Dio is simply too intellegent to fall for Springtrap’s tricks, and Springtrap is smart enough to know Dio would’ve killed him him if not for his abilities at his disposal. This matchup does not deserve to work as well as it does honestly, there’s like WAYYY too many connections for a videogame series about killer pizzeria animatronics and a fucked up bloodline. And my biggest surprise was definitely the use of the ROA sprites. I don’t know why, but I always had this belief that rivals sprites wouldn’t really work that well in sprite animations since they’re already heavily animated, but you proved me wrong just by using a little bit of creativity.

What I like about this is that the matchup makes more thematic sense than you'd expect. Two knife-wielding psychopaths so afraid of death and believing they are owed the world, that they threw away their humanity to achieve immortality. You also conveyed really well that a lot of Jojo battles, especially ones with DIO, are best described as cat-and-mouse endeavors. DIO being genuinely startled by Springtrap's jumpscare illusions at first because he doesn't know what to expect, then locking in and going on the offensive only to be blindsided again is basically how any fight with a sufficiently powerful enemy works for him because he's so cautious and analytical about the idea of fighting. That makes him near untouchable when he's in his stride, because as long as he knows an attack is coming, he can dodge it with zero effort. Afton, meanwhile, is kind of the opposite. He's very full of himself and analytical as well, but he throws caution to the wind very easily. He'll take a wrinkle into account sure, but he just shifts gears to try something else. Whereas DIO is a falcon circling overhead picking and choosing its prey, Springtrap is a shark circling below. He doesn't care what it is he's up against as long as its vaguely shaped like his typical prey, and while sometimes he seems to give up at the slightest hint of resistance, he just needs to sink his teeth in once to permanently alter your life at BEST.

Scraptrap was missing one of his arms, but after the events his arm became overgrown with flesh covering the bone. in the books they said how to destroy agony, that positive emotions can destroy agony, there is no other advice Also Bro it's fun :3

One thing I don’t see mentioned enough is the amazing choreography in this fight. You can tell how much attention is put into it. The way Dio fights is quick and overpowering. Showing his distinct physical advantage over the much less powerful Springtrap. While on the other hand, William is smart and slippery. Using every trick he has in his book to get around anything Dio throws at him. The ability to see his stand (I’m not sure exactly what that’s in reference to, but uh… I guess there’s probably something in FNAF that let’s him see things related to stands?), illusions to prevent himself from getting hit and to counter the time stop, possession of electronics, and a bunch of other abilities. It’s always fun to see a unique type of fight like this that isn’t just two ragdolls trading punches all willy-nilly. My only concern is that I’m not sure how to feel about Springtrap winning this? I mean, I’m more of a FNAF fan then a Jojo fan, so I’ll take it. But like, only one of these fighters got split in half and seemingly knocked out at the end. I know Springtrap was the one to teleport Dio, but I don’t think that necessarily gives him the win.

@@Vad3Retr0 It's not really hell essentially in FNAF, spirits can enter other souls and see their minds, memories and dreams, in this state, they can even lock a person's mind and soul into one of these memories or dreams, effectively mentally BFRing them (BFR as in BattleFieldRemoval, your opponent not being able to fight due to being so far away that they can't continue it in time) From this point, DIO would essentially be stuck in a prior memory forever, or if William gets creative, he could possibly weaponize these memories and create entities within said memories if he has enough control with these abilities as people like Andrew and Cassidy (Golden Freddy) Do note though, most of this is supported by the Fazbear Frights - the pieces are there in the canon that support this too - but those books do open it much more, this animation clearly uses the books.

As tough as he is, realistically Springtrap probably wouldn't stand a chance against DIO, even if you included all of his material, which you did. @@russelljacobsen8751 2022 - William, when he was a canon glitchtrap, now glitch trap is rewritten and can be a Mimic. As for the mugen, the hammer is a special weapon. Fazbear frights book of 6-7 Agony is all of William's anger, combining many mechanical parts into one body. agony can destroy buildings, has the ability to infect things and is extremely difficult to kill, the very durability of agony is also somewhere at the level of a building, but its survivability is extremely high; For complete death you need to destroy all its parts Agony is alive, and to this day she has managed to drown a small part of herself before she destroyed the main body.

Springtrap can react to Dio's the world punches and can create illusions see souls as well so he can see Dio's stand Furthermore Springtrap can just send him away via agony and has so many counters to Dio's attacks I can go into detail if you would like to hear more but listen to me when I say this result is accurate but Dio puts up a AMAZING fight ngl
