Mappy is underrated af. literally every single track on this game is fire. You can't even play the damn game because you are to busy jamming out to the actual song. The gameplay is also fun but thats not what im focusing on. I can't even begin to put in words how great every single song is on this game. It just always gets outshined by all the other NAMCO games but people seriously need to give this game a try.

Mappy is amazing as a whole. It has amazing gameplay, great soundtrack, tight and responsive controls and has variety and fun mechanics. Mappy is truly a masterpiece in my opinion.

I remember back in Middle School, my school has the Ms. Pac Man Joystick. When we get a rainy weather, The Lunch hours takes place inside of classrooms, because there's no Cafeteria. And during Lunch, one of the staff sets up the Joystick on the TV, and me and everyone start playing Galaga, Ms. Pac-Man, and Mappy. I also use to have Ms. Pac-Man Joystick, but I got rid of it many years ago... Now I was able to get the Mappy Theme(Namco Classics 2) in Pac-Man 99. :)

Mappy is an arcade game by Namco, introduced in 1983 and distributed in the United States by Bally Midway. A side-scrolling platform game featuring a mouse protagonist and cat antagonists, it runs on Namco Super Pac-Man hardware modified to support horizontal scrolling. The name "Mappy" is likely derived from mappo (マッポ), a slightly pejorative Japanese slang term for policeman. The game has been re-released in several Namco arcade compilations. It spawned a handful of sequels and a 2013 animated web series developed by cartoonists Scott Kurtz and Kris Straub.
