Check out Chloe, the drummer from Chaos Chaos. She has a very similar style, some call it "chaotic". I've heard the two compared before, and I know they list Maps and Atlases as one of their big influences. They've been recording albums and playing shows since they were in elementary school, but are really coming into it now. Awesome girls. Anyway, I swear she's one of the best drummers I've ever heard, and she's still only 18.

Totally! Love em. I loved their version of Closer that they did on KEXP. Took on a whole other scene and meaning for me. a more intimate and mature version than Tegan & Sara's, which I felt lent itself to the lyrics much better, at least for me. :) And they finally put them on Spotify.YAY!!! You're right about Chloe too. Must have been a prodigy, no? Their musical talents are so mature and vast for such young ones.

Where does KEXP get their funding from to be able to hire such good, and so many, camera operators and sound guys. They always get it right, and they obviously have numerous cameras set up to film different views of all the players, close ups of the instruments, etc. Or is that robotic? Still sounds expensive, and the sound guys are just the best. Not that I'm an expert, but that's what I've heard it said, and it does always sound almost like a studio performance.

I think it's based on when the comment was made, his was ten months ago with 50 likes, whereas the other has 17 and was 3 months ago. If we acted like the comment progressed at the same rate for another 7 months, it would be about 57 or so likes. It probably takes into account how many replies a comment has gotten. Or not, I could be talking out of my ass, I don't how KZbin is programmed.
