MAPS is something I first heard about through several interviews with Rick Doblin on the Duncan Trussell Family Hour Podcast :D. I have been fascinated with the potentials and wrote a research paper on the movement in grad school at UC Cincinnati. I now work in social work doing psychotherapy and hope that I can find a way to focus my career through this lens one day. Thank you all for what you do. This type of work brings me hope that more people can enjoy a quality, meaningful life.

MAPS is a well-funded institution whose goal is to foist brain-damaging chemicals on yet another generation of naive and helpless victims. Every use of LSD damages the brain. The damage is severe, permanent, and cumulative. There is no safe dose, the damage is linear in the dose. If you do not do mathematics on a day-to-day basis, you will not notice the damage until it is so severe it begins to interfere with your day to day life.

You guys should not only spread the potential benefits of marijuana and psychedelics, but also increase the awareness of the risks that they come with, like the debilitating disorder HPPD that can mess a persons vision up for life because of the persistent visual snow, halos, tracers, palinopsia, visual hallucinations, light sensitivity etc, like it did for me.
