The word "Korkma" means "Fear not" or "Don't be afraid/scared" The first sentence of the national anthem is "Korkma! The first word in the Belgian national anthem is NOT only noble. It is "O" in both the Dutch and the German version of the anthem. In the French version it's indeed "noble". They should've taken the two of them OR at least taken "O" instead of "noble" if they were only gonna pick one, because the 60% majority of the Belgian population sings this song starting with "O" and not with "noble", which is only used by the 40% minority of the Belgian population.
