Yes Drew, Frank Sinatra starred in a movie which was based on a book. That book got a sequel which inspired Die Hard. So a 72 year old Sinatra was given the possibility to star in it.

The most hilarious thing about the Balkanized New York, speaking as someone from upstate New York, is that Watertown gets its own country named after it for some reason, but Syracuse and Rochester both get absorbed into other nations (Onondaga for Syracuse, and the Finger Lakes Region for Rochester).

On Russia, its structure is essentially counties plus nominally sovereign republics and other autonomies sprinkled along the empire. So all of it is Russia, without there being a Russia Proper. In practice it's the hegemon's territory in counties plus the autonomies, which have their executive seats filled by Moscow's top picks. IF Russia were to become a more decentralized federation, it'd at best look something like in the map 9:40. The Republic of Muscovy in the federation would be de-facto Russia Proper, but there'd be more layers between Moscow and the counties. However, since power in the Muscovite empire has projected from either Moscow or St. Petersburg for the past half-millennium, I find it hard to believe that if that power ever diminished, it'd ever hold the eastern reaches of the empire at all. Last time it happened China was in its Warlord Period, so they couldn't do much anything to exploit the situation, now could they?

8:20 there are actually multiple times in History where Indonesia just conquered most of South East Asia. There's the Majapahit Empire being the largest scope, then Srivijaya ruled the most of it for a long long while. South East Asia has to much history burnt by the Spanish, Dutch, and French, but the ashes still remain~
