Holding the remote parallel to the keypad with the remote's top 1/2" above the 0 and Enter keys did the trick for me every time.

Thank you it worked! My keypad got soaked, would light up but the two blinking lights would never stop flashing so I could program keypad. I changed the batteries, followed your instructions and it works 🤗

I pressed the no. 3 button for 3 sec and 2 LED lights are blinking for maybe 5 sec and LED lights dies instead of steady light to allow me to move transmitted to 8 & 9 and enter PIN. Your help is greatly appreciated. Al

Have a brand new unit. @24 seconds, you press a button and the keypad lights up. Mine will not do that, only flash the 2 lights under the 5. I cannot get this one into learn mode. Any tips? I changed batteries, cleared the codes by pulling the batteries, hold down Enter.

Thank you so much for taking time to create this video! Unfortunately I cannot get my keypad programmed. I read the tips in the comments. Anyone have additional Tips? When I go thru the steps, my keypad reacts as shown on the video. It lights up and appears to be in program mode. But does not work.

Mine is also having the same issues. The two lights are flashing but no matter how many time I ve entered the codes it doesn’t do anything. Two red LED still flashing. It doesn’t do anything even when I tried pressing and holding #3. Anyone helping me would be greatly appreciated

Ours is a Synergy 380, it is one year old and the keypad is identical to this one. this does not work for ours. everything responds the same including the lights, but does not operate after this procedure. It seems many others have said the same thing. Is there a follow up video or "plan B" ? thanks for your trouble

I have a Martin door which uses the three pin connector to program additional remotes. I've scoured the internet and I can't find the old Martin door keyless entry system pad. It also operates at 315 MHz. Do you think this might work if I buy this exact keypad?

Yes. Martin private labeled Marantec operators for their own use for several years. If your remote and/or keypad are similar to this and using the 315mhz frequency (There is also a 916 mhz frequency) it will work.

After I insert the batteries, the middle two lights stays on, and no other LED is on. It seems that I cannot get this to the programming mode... I also tried the clearing memory instructions, still no luck. Any suggestions? Thank you!!!!!

So are you saying that you can not program your keypad unless you have a programmable remote? I thought you could program the keypad with the actual garage door opener directly.

For this type of operator specifically, you need a programmed remote. These Marantec brand operators do not have a, "Learn button" like some brands.

My remote and keypad look the same but seems that my old remote is 433.93 MHz where the keypad is 315. Can I upgrade to the newer 315 remote with the 2 smaller buttons?

You would need a 315mhz receiver (this is part of the motor)

Have a question. My wireless garage door stopped working, so I replaced the batteries. The keypad does not light up. Nor can I program it. Thinking the new batteries might be bad, I tried new batteries again. No luck. The unit seems dead. Any suggestions

Does the motor run with any other remotes or the stationary wall button inside your garage, or is nothing working? The keypad itself could need to be replaced (being outside is hard on electronics), or your motor could have a failing receiver on the circuit board. Since you said the keypad doesn't light up at all, even with new batteries, it sounds like the keypad itself is bad and may just need to be switched for a new one.

This is really easy. I might add it does mean immediately while the lights are blinking to add your code. I was waiting to long to enter it. So operator error. After I realized that it worked!

mine never blinks (gets in program mode) i press #3 for 3 seconds, the 2 lights come on, i hold opener close to number 3 and slowly move down to number 9 while holding button, but the 2 lights never flash so i can program. What does this mean please?

He forgot to mention: Do 3 to 9, then 5 to 8 in a downward motion. No need to go slow.

This will only work for this model of keyless entry. If your keypad does not look exactly like this Marantec Keypad then your steps will be different

@@codycollins7758 Yes, it's the same. I get to the programming mode, do it and press enter, but it doesn't work. I've tried it while mounted on the wall and off the wall. It's only three years old, but maybe it's time for a new one.
