I picked one up from the trash on the side of the road just needed some preamp repair and a good cleaning added it to my collection

Damn bro talk about a score! I can’t believe some idiot would throw one of those away like that. I looked for one for years,& just scored one for $280.00 on an eBay auction. Im going to have to have mine cleaned up a bit but hopefully nothing major.

Get yourself a really good Japanese unit. Bought a Technics amp and CD player 35 years ago still going perfectly to this day.

That 2230 is in awesome condition. I had it's little brother a 2220 that I wish I still had but don't. Is that still available or do you have any others that you would consider selling?

I got a 2230 for free it works but needs major tlc. Was foung in a junk pile of all places. And definetly a box is needed. Or would be good.

Display colour should be aqua blue like the original not that ugly purply blue.
