Just bought a new Marantz SR5015. This one has the HDMI 2.1 bug 4k120hz. I've read that only the new Xbox console is not 100% compatible with this receiver and does not output 4k120 but it should be fine with a PS5? Could you shed some light on this issue? Will my SR5015 output 4K120 with a PS5?

@@hxosplus Το ρωτώ γαιτι ακριβώς τα οδηγώ ήδη με ένα παλιό Av θα το έχετε στα υπόψιν με την εμπειρία σας , Marantz sr 7200 μόντ. Περί το 2003 και σκέφτομαι να τον αλλάξω να κερδίσω από τα νέα καλούδια αλλά να μήνα χάσω όσο μπορώ στο δικαναλο ! Ο συγκεκριμένος δεν τα πάει στα όρια τους τα ηχεία αλλά τα οδηγεί αξιοπρεπώς θα εκεγα ! Υπάρχει ένας καλός av που παράλληλα να είναι και streamer και να μην διαφεύγει σε budget τα 1500 ευρώ ;;; Ρωτώ γιατί τα έχω στο εξοχικό μου και θεκω ένα compact μηχάνημα ένα για όλα όσο γίνεται σαφώς !

Όλα ωραία, αν εξαιρέσουμε ότι τσίμπησαν λίγο τις τιμές. Οι προηγούμενοι marantz (μέχρι πριν 2-3 χρόνια αν δεν κάνω λάθος), αυτής της κατηγορίας (50xx), νομίζω δεν ξεπερνούσαν τα 700€. Ξαφνικά πήγαν σχεδόν στο χιλιάρικο. Τουλάχιστον ο συγκεκριμένος έχει πλήρες τμήμα βίντεο. Ο αμέσως προηγούμενος έκανε upscaling στα 4k30 αντί για 4k60 που είχαν τα ανώτερα μοντέλα και οι denon της ίδιας κατηγορίας τιμής. Επίσης, αυτό που μου αρέσει στους marantz εκτός από τα hdam κλπ, είναι ότι είναι οι μόνοι σε αυτή τη κατηγορία τιμής που σου δίνουν τα πάντα από συνδέσεις. Ουσιαστικά μόνο την πολυκαναλη αναλογική αφαίρεσε αλλά δεν νομίζω να λείψει και σε πολλούς...

I say yes. The Sr-5015 has 7 preouts for an external amp. Not including the the 2 subs. Yamaha only has 2 preouts with 2 subs. Major upgrade!

Speaking from experience, after a whole, you're going to want more out of your speakers. External power amplifier is the only way to push them

Rxv6a possesses a very beautiful face and very strong body construction because my friend bought one and accidentally dropped while the receiver was still in carton . Amazingly , it performs well when set up and no traces even a slight scratch . Maranz , on the other hand in terms of build, beauty , durability , particularly at the back of the receiver , above all its distinct sound , maranz rs 5015 is ahead by , to my conclusion , 30 percent !

Go for what you exactly like. If you like more bassy and deep sound, go for Denon. If you want more clarity and precision on sound. Go for Marantz.

Full pre amp outputs to add external amplifiers to all channels, and a really good built in streamer (WIFI).
