P-Bandai Exclusive HGUC Pale Rider DII Review

Review of the P-Bandai Exclusive HGUC Pale Rider DII. A pale rider variant developed using reference of the previous pale rider dullahan and calvary. A trial MS trying to replace the GM quel but obviously never happened. Build is pretty much identical to the Calvary but has some difference in certain areas. The head is more close to the original pale rider head, and the backpack has less thrusters and does not use a fuel canister. Stickers are pretty much the same but since the MS does not have the HADES system, it does not come with any red eyes nor extra stickers.

1:50 The story on why the DII got rejected is actually pretty funny. it WAS going to be a mainstay Titans suit, but when it was sent out on it's first test run, it ran into Apolly who was delivering a Dowas Custom to Anaheim to help develop rick dias. And this thing just got bodied HARD.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet. From the spare parts, you can actually swap the original front flaps, side skirts, and butt flap quite easily. Plus points if you have a extra Titans bunny sticker to slap on the butt flap. There are also enough parts to assemble extra basic-looking backpack that lacks holes to mount beam saber handles. You can also swap in the orignal halves of the forearm, A-3 and A-4, and attach the two forearm armor pieces, B-9, which I assume are part of the original configuration of the HG Pale Rider this P-Bandai kit is based off of. But the downside is that you won't be able to mount the Shekinah nor the DII's shield securely without modification, since their square pegs do not fit into the original Pale Rider forearm's circular holes. However, the real gems here are the spare leg parts. Provided you have the necessary poly caps on hand, you can assemble a pair of swappable shins even without the original retail manual, if you so favor the older style of leg.

The backpack is the same exact mold. The extra thrusters are connected on the calvary and plug into the one spot. There are not 6 slots on the calvary backpack. You can also plug the canister into the d2. Everything except the forehead piece and the 2 extra one piece connected thrusters are exactly the same.

There is no Pale rider Red, the red unit pale rider style mobile suit was the Red Rider the precursor to the Pale Rider and the hades system. The Red Rider was meant to gather the necessary data to develop the Pale Rider and the Hades system. It used the even more dangerous ARES system which could cause the unit to experience extremely high G force which would often kill the pilot.
