the reason the manual doesn't seem like an exclusive manual is because this kit was originally a pre-order bonus for the video game. Bandai does that with a few of the Gundam video games.

the blue in Extra Finish does make it look sleeker for some reason.

Dark color can create a slimming illusion which make thing look sleeker, just like woman likes to wear black stocking to make their legs looks slimmer.

The Pale Rider was my 2nd P-Bandai kit. Was a nightmare to paint.

@@MasterSwo The biggest issue I had was the vents. Getting the gold/white areas to be clean and crisp was a big pain. As there is little to separate the vent area from the actual armor.

I remember building this kit and still have it. I have the normal one that I may plan to make it this year. I would say I rather get the normal version of the ground type so I can paint it but since it has the extra finish I left it as is. The Dom that you see in the back round I have seen in the Gundam Battle Operation 2 game that is on the PS4 and you can pilot it as well as all the pale riders suits. Expo kits are just for show and to make it look cool. I remember painting yellow in the area where the stickers goes since I didn't want to put them on.

Just picked it up today. Titanium finish was actually cheaper than regular ground type. I hope I didn't miss out on regular version but in my mind 2/3 price of regular ground type was worth it

@@leolied6766 i think it's for the multiple obscure slight HG redesigns and recolors from very niche manga and game projects, not for a new MG. It's not like g-unit or AoZ project where they begin it from scratch, rather a website created for marketing purposes, just like the one created for GM variants.

picked this one up from USAGS for pretty cheap when they had it in stock a couple years ago and loved this build- besides the finish it's nothing too fancy but i was pleasantly surprised by how nice the articulation was for a kit of its age (it's really more like a kit from 2012 since the construction is so similar to the GM Sniper II)

I'm not a fan of the mono visor unless it's a gm or something but this design is perfect. The amazing colors and the red visor make this kit a wet dream for me. I would never had found it if not for this channel, thank you.

Honestly Bandai shot them self in the face when designing the Hades mode, cause they would either have to remold all the vents in white or orange parts or stickers

Funny you rate it as a 2015/16 kit since the base mold (minus weapons besides beam sabers) was first released bundled with the missing link ps3 game in 2014.

I have the metallic version of the Pale Rider that came in the Limited Edition of the Gundam Side Stories game for PS3. I got it when it was released. Damn thing is rare. I was the only person in my city who owned one... until someone else got it after me. My title as the Pale Rider Guy stayed though, since I really do like the Pale Rider. I wish there would be a kit of the Red Rider from the Gundam Aggressor side story manga.

@@leeyoung7826 My city has a community and groups for Gundam and mecha enthusiasts. That includes the hardcore fans who will spend thousands on kits and merchandise, including the most obscure items and collector's editions. Casual Gundam fans most likely won't buy the game, let alone the limited edition. So that only leaves the enthusiasts and the numbers narrow down to just a handful of people. I asked around and no one had the kit except me. Later on a member of GunplaMTL obtained it, rendering me no longer the sole owner of such a rare kit.

Correct me if I'm wrong. That cannon is for all intents and purposes just an 08MST-style 180mm cannon, yes? EDIT: Mostly yes, it seems. Mostly enough that, in "canon," I'd imagine it's a model revision of the original. It's missing the secondary handle and has some extra bits, and the handle is different to accommodate the different holding style.

@@MasterSwo the backpack it had 4 thrusters instead of 6, and no propellant tank is optional, the second thing is that the head is closer to the original pale rider. For me the release of the Pale Rider Cavalry is a dream come true, I finally don't need to heavily modified a HG Pale Rider to make Dullahan II

The only things I don’t like on the pale rider kits are the the weird elbow joints and the open spots under the feet. And it would be nice if it had a cool set of hands as well. But that’s really just me being nitpicky.
