Marrow is and was always so beautifully drawn. I hope they use her more in the future. Her powerset is so original and refreshing. Thanks for the vid. I liked how Masque is secretly enjoying his acceptance and redemption via the hospital employment. I hope that he doesn't go Rogue because of being manipulated by Calisto. As far as I know, there's no direct confirmation of Marrow being added to the next X-men team. She is one of the candidates for the ballot to choose the final X-men member, but there's been no confirmation or tease that she won (to my knowledge). And she's up against some big names including Banshee, Polaris, Sunspot, Armor and Cannonball. I'm hoping either her or Tempo wins the vote but chances are pretty slim. I'm a big Marrow fan myself and see her as being completely underutilized based on her powerset. After joining Cable's X-force team, Marrow got a huge amp in her powers, and it seems like she's just as powerful as she was in that series. I'd like to see her on the X-men's main team, but at the same time, I wouldn't mind seeing her lead Morlocks again. Overall, she looked great in this issue. Definitely appreciated that industrial assassin look she had.

I wonder what a character like Bliss would look like if they had to resurrect her. Masque remodeled her to look like Jean Grey. I remember at one point Mystique admitted she couldn't remember what her original form looked like. When they resurrected her it was an opportunity to show us what her original form look like but they didn't take it.

Sorry but Mystique's resurrections was not a chance to show her original looks. Her current default form (blue skin, yellow eyes & red hair) is result of her mutanthood. Since the resurrections brings her back to adulthood and active mutant powers, then she would have her mutant look and not pre-mutation appearance. But you're right with Bliss. The resurrection process is a chance to see what her appearance is before Masque altered her.

@@Katzztar in the mystique miniseries they very specifically say that she can't remember what her original form was. Has nothing to do with the color of her skin. It was she didn't know what she actually looked like. When she loses consciousness she doesn't revert back to some form. She always stays what she has morphed into. And she had been morphing for so many years that she actually didn't know what she would look like and she just chose the form we know her as, as a default to help give her some kind of mental stability because she found that she was losing her identity by not having a base to return to

@@Katzztar I don't think they were implying that her skin was ever not blue or her eyes were ever not yellow. I think they were trying to imply that she didn't remember what her face or body look like. That doesn't mean that her skin or eyes would change color. I think they even implied that she didn't remember whether she was male or female. I think they said that she had control over her cells to the point where she could change her internal organs to be either. I'd have to look back at the miniseries!

Callisto had no idea that the Reavers were told NOT to attack the hospital. From a tactical viewpoint with the info the MArauders & Callisto had, it made sense to suspect that the Hospital could be targeted. - They knew that the Verendi had plans to raze Lowtown and build towers there (Kate walked into Verendi HQ and saw their Real Estate project plans). - Verendi was in the process of clearing out Lowtown - Verendi hates mutants and anything to do with mutants - the Hospital was created by mutants and the opening ceremonies was attended by mutants - the Hospital was named after a world-renown geneticist who the world believed was a pro-mutant human (her being a mutant is still secret) : Moira McTaggert With that info, makes sense to worry they may target the hospital.

I think the Reevers left the hospital alone to try to pull some eugenics shit on the mutants again. I wonder if Krakoa has many allies left in the outside that would be willing to help take care of some shit for them so they don't have to get their hands dirty. I'd imagine Blue Marvel, Captain Marvel, Spectrum, Hulk, Ms Marvel, America Chavez, hell all the Spider-Mans (Peter Miles and Gwen specifically) would be more than willing to help.

It is rather interesting seeing these images of Masque. In his first appearance in X-men books 169-170, he did not look anything like how they are making him appear. The character says that flesh is like clay to him, but he could not alter his appearance, which sadly is malformed in the books mentioned. I don't know when the character gained control of his powers, but this is a problem throughout most of his appearances. Perhaps it is a writer's or an artist's decision to alter his visage because it did affect his mental stability.

I love the Krakoan titles, but there are things where I feel the writers really drop the ball...repeatedly. #1. The animosity, and past tragedies with the mutants. They (Charles and Magneto through Moira) had a complete almanac of the conflucts/tragedies/mistakes concerning the mutants, of A FEW lifetimes. So why do they continue to reference past mutant tragedies (Genosha, the school massacre, morlock massacre, etc.), and conflicts (Magneto's Acolytes, Children Of The Vault, MLF, etc) that occurred well AFYER Moira met/revealed to Charles. Why, with future knowledge, weren't these curtailed/prevented? Especially something as massive/devastating as the massacre on Genosha? #2. This issue...why th does Kate have to sneak in to plant a Krakoan flower!? You put a Krakoan hospital in THE MIDDLE of a hot zone between them and Verendi. Am I the only one that thought that a Krakoan gate inside the hospital should've been a no brainer? If only to make it easier for "Dr. Masque" to get in and do his thing?? Little details like this drive me insane!🤯
