I really miss that second X-Factor team with Jamie, Guido and the rest. It was so amazing at the time to see such a home-run comic populated exclusively with B and C list characters. I maintain to this day that the issue where in Doc Sampson gives the team a psychological evaluation is one of the best written comics ever.

Madrox is a very underrated character. I like his alternate versions, like Age of Apocalypse and even Earth X.

Great video! I hadn’t known about Jamie’s early history. One note: Guido is pronounced Gwee-do. It is a a common Italian first name (I am of Italian descent and have several family members with the name). They’re all older, though - so it isn’t as popular as it once was, I guess.

About the dupe killed by Proteus: Proteus' host bodies undergo rapid decay, forcing him to jump from body to body. The dupe, more genetically unstable than normal, probably disintegrated completely, explaining why it was never found.

Excellent material in this video on Madrox... but Strong Guy's proper name is pronounced, "Gwee-doe", not "Guy-doe"... other than that one item, excellent work! 👍 I actually watched this video, hoping to figure out where the Marvel Legends retro-carded MULTIPLE MAN should fit into my collection... STILL don't know, 😅😅😅, but it was fun learning more about him... I guess, if we ever get a Sunder figure, or a She-Hulk sized version of Polaris in the yellow and gold X-Men #275 style uniforms, and the other members of the Muir Island Saga, he'd be great there... otherwise, he's probably either going to be stuck into my New Mutants, X-Force, or Exiles type group of alternate characters 🤔... Obviously, my other X-Factor 2.0 version Madrox is in THAT group... I started not to get the retro-carded version because he was never in a particular group, but then I found 3 of them for the price of one and decided to pick them up anyway...
