I have two changes I would like to propose to the Rules Committee: 1. Change the format to three periods (as in real ice hockey). 2. Add a net to the front of each goal that is installed high enough to allow the puck to enter the goal while keeping the players out of the goal. This will make defending the game more exciting for the fans and provide more opportunities for players to defend their goals and the attackers to make additional plays at net.

They used to do 3 periods but it kinda took forever. Also if one side has an advantage, 2 halves removes that advantage. I do like having the filter on the net for the players tho.

The net on the net sounds good, but doing two halves is needed to balance out any imbalance in the court. In actual hockey that's part of the home team advantage.

I think this is officially the longest event in a Marble League to date. Also, with the next event (Ice Bowling), I believe that just the first half of Marble League 2024 on its own already will well exceed 2 hours.

It's a shame that the directly overhead camera angle has the scoreboard graphic at the top of the screen covers up part of the ice, so we can never see the collision of the marbles with the walls at the top of the rink from that view. :(

You are correct about the chocalatiers. 4 straight top 4 finishes after started the league with just 2 points in the first 3 events. Their results are: 15th, 16th, 16th, 4th, 4th, 1st, 2nd After their abysmal performance in bobsled round 3 I was ready to throw in the towel. It's been a crazy quick turnaround.
