Hopefully things will improve next year. Honestly, having to qualify next year shouldn't be a dramatic problem, considering this is the only year they've made it automatically and the Oceanics have done very well in the events that made up the winter qualifiers last time. Honestly, I'll be a lot more interested to see how the Savage Speeders handle a qualifier for the first time, since it's looking less and less likely they'll be able to make the podium.

Last year with 3 events to go : 48 pts separate 1st and 16th, Oceanics lead This year with 3 events to go: 58 pts separate 1st and 4th, Oceanics last Speeders could pull a miracle, but it's really a 3-horse race now. Maybe more like a 2-horse race after that event.
