Just finished this exact Marble coaster and it has way to many places that needed some extra work done like for instance the place where you had to push down on the track at 6:00. I had two warped sheets that had 4 pieces that were warped and I ended up having to glue pieces in place otherwise the balls wouldn't continue. Great idea behind this thing but it needs tweaking which I suppose isn't to bad considering where it comes from. Definitely wouldn't buy the Model LG again. I watched the video by Leo Kessels which was a life saver for me. I broke one small piece only because I had to tweak an area where the balls would hang up. Definitely would NOT buy the Model LGA01 again. I think the 501 would be a better choice.

Ya, but I was suprise how smooth the gear , that part is really precision engineering.The track part very much depends on the wooden pieces, the hardness and if any warp...because each sheet have different hardness and wood texture. Maybe they shld use plastic on those longer track to minimise this uncertainty variable...

@@MarbleMotionASMR I agree with that, very precise and quite amazing how it works. The biggest problem was warped pieces but with the few adjustments I've made here and there it is working much better. Thank you for sharing your video, take care and have a good week.

Well what did you expect with small intricate pieces of wood and a rather large network of pathways. As far as warped goes. You need to press the pieces down fully into the slots. Some of the pieces have small angles that you need to bend out of their regular shape in order to function correctly. Gluing would be necessary if you plan on never disassembly. You have to work for what you want bro.

@@jaynolan7526 I certainly didn't expect a warped sheet of puzzle parts and the small pieces had nothing to do with anything. I've built dozens of wooden dollhouse kits, the wood version of the Titanic, a pickup and a Jeep and not one of them had any warped pieces. I still made it work and I was only talking about the experience I had with my kit.

They might have improved their quality control since then, I just finished this and didn't have any warping, or maybe was just lucky. One issue I have though is that sometimes a steel ball will fall out the back at the top of the gear, but I feel that's more of an issue with my setup.

I just built my first, the ROKR chocolate factory. It was easy an I love all the colors an lights. This one I’ve been looking at for my second. Just don’t know what I’m going to do with them all, I’m addicted

Just finished. Great puzzle. Had very little trouble in the end. This was my first. You need patience and dexterity.

🤔 Really, did nothing go wrong during construction? nothing broken?? 😁
@MarbleMotionASMR3 жыл бұрын
no, so far the instruction pretty damm good ..and nothing broken in the process. In fact , they give more extra pieces that deem easily broken....so you have piece of mind. The super glue included as well, just in case you broken something that need a quick fix...very satisfy with the product

@@MarbleMotionASMR 👍👍 For me the build and filming it was also great fun. It works perfectly.

My base was so unaligned and the cogs too. At least it looks cool. I got a shit set. I followed the everything throughly
@MarbleMotionASMR4 ай бұрын
You need to do final adjustments yourself and make some changes and if needed use glue. Can't expect every set is a perfect since is wood material

How did you figure out the problem with the marbles getting stuck on the lower ramp going around the corner? @7:11
@MarbleMotionASMR2 жыл бұрын
I didn't fix it..i just enjoyed as it is. I think the ramp with this type of wooden track could not be perfectly align, but i can accept the imperfection as long as the gear is working, i am happy!
@daveadams44022 жыл бұрын
@@MarbleMotionASMR thank you for the response. I can see how the design can be improved to fix it. I tried to put pressure on the wood to bend it down but it comes back up. It is interesting to see how it is a problem with multiple sets as I thought I did something wrong when building it.
@MarbleMotionASMR2 жыл бұрын
@@daveadams4402 , I believe due to each wood have different tension , wood texture or even minor warp. Is hard to notice when still in the precut laser sheet form, but when assemble out as a track, sometime we bump into this...maybe you superglue it with some leftover wood pieces and engineered out the way.
@xlevix102 жыл бұрын
I just finished mine last night and had the same problem, so I used an extra small piece of wood (the rectangular piece holding the plastic to the wood @3:45, to be exact) and wedged it between the rail and the track on the outside curve. That pushed the track down and allowed the marbles to continue moving without getting stuck.
