If you find yourself needing to do the brakes again you might find it helpful to put the pads in AFTER the caliper is installed. Also, you may find grease leaking out if your hubs when they get hot and spinning since you packed it so full. Looks like your doing a good job cleaning up the little car.

We did try installing the pads after the caliper was on, but they just wouldn't go -- the only solution in our case was to grind the material down with a belt sander.

Also you are correct that the grease leaks out when it warms up -- seems like we've reached an equilibrium at this point with it, but things were a bit streaky for a little while.
