Patiently wating for the youtube algorithm to bistow the deserved publicity to your channel.

This was very helpful for visual learners like myself. Your models and the way you clearly explain the science without boring us to death is the perfect few by formula. I almost didn’t watch because of the amount of views, you deserve so many more. I hope the right people sees this and help you guys get the science models out.

Man this is awesome dude. Exactly what ive been looking for. I've been getting so confused and sick of hear that "warm air rises and so we get convection" when obviously warm air doesn't always just rise.

came from the monte carlo video holy shit this channel is insane

Keep up the amazing work. You're one or two viral hits from making it big! Easily some of the best science content out there, I'm loving your videos!

I really appreciate this deep look into all of the mechanisms at play. I remember being very frustrated at a textbook that said that the reason high altitude air is cold is "Adiabatic expansion", and I couldn't wrap my brain around how that was a reasonable explanation for the whole phenomenon.

Randomly found your channel yesterday,when I searched about temperature concept ... Amazed by your insight explanation... Your video on entropy is the best explanation available at present. Even veritasium is behind your video with relative to deep explanation.. I hope you make a video about Gibbs free energy..... I am biochemistry student and in this field no one explains about that topic ..... As you are PhD student i want you to make video about Gibbs free energy and Enthalpy.....🙋

Thanks :) I can't promise anything but that is certainly a topic i'm thinking about.

My understanding is that the two halves of that model should not equilibrate to the same temperature. (thermodynamic systems equilibrating to the same total energy) Also I believe lapse rate applies to solids equally to gases and liquids.

Great stuff! Thanks a lot for the new insights! I love that there are interactive models to try out!

Very well explained 👍👍 i am pursuing my PhD in environmental science, i am curious about the softwares you are using to run these simulations

Thanks! I used three.js I did not really use the 3d capabilities for this project, but I don't want to learn a new framework for every project. If you only want 2d stuff you could also use a slimmer solution like a plain browser canvas.

Greate video ! What do you use to make your simulations ?
@MarbleScience Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I use threejs. It's not really necessary for the 2d stuff but I also plan to make some interactive 3d content.

If (and only if) you find it helpful to yourself, (it would be helpful for my purposes of aggregating educational shorts), can you put your videos into a playlist (either "all" or a "best of")?

wow the cubes in your room, doesn't the entropy move them away from the corners ?! xd Maybe very slowly... (but surely !)
@MarbleScience Жыл бұрын
low enthalpy keeps them there :D

Remember that radiation is also affected by gravity, as light from the sun enters earths gravity it will gain energy and wavelength will decrease, and vica versa.
