One of my favourite songs from Zinc Alloy. Is this a different take? Marc's vocal sounds a bit higher in the mix than the original or perhaps it's just a great re-master. Sounds as fresh today as it did when I first heard it in 1974.

@@patrickalleyne7140 Marc's handwriting was a lot more runic and erratic than this. I guess this has been re-written to make it more easily readable.

I think Andy is right it does sound different but think its the bass you can hear Steve's bass lines more prominent i think its great all the same Zinc is a brilliant album

Must disagree. He was very talented, but was fading away with the Glam-Rock genre. His last recordings on Dandy were a lot better than anything he released after Slider.

These are really early pieces of writing so he hadn’t evolved into the more spidery writing that came later.
