In the recent TV documentaries his vocal style at this session where he also recorded 'Blowing In The Wind' was seriously called into question.... How could it be. This is a voice oozing soul and genius even at this early age. The 'Mrs Jones' track from Joe Meeks studio the previous year is the same.. Total passion in the voice.. There never will be anyone like Marc again... I feel so blessed to have met him a few times in 76 and 77.. God bless you Marc..

Me too lots of coincidences around his death he knew he wasn't going to see 30 he died a week before. He died on the road that didn't take him home. The car reg was fox in solid gold action he sings easy as picking foxes of a tree. A tree killed him.

When I heard him first time in a record store in my hometown, it was Hot Love they played, my first thought was: wow , what a voice, who’s that? He had the voice.

Wonderful video and yes it seems very prophetic, like so many other things in Marc's life. This particular song wasn't written by Marc it was written by Dion Di Mucci of 'run around sue' fame. This i think makes it even more strange that Marc would choose a song quite unpredictably to cover in his early career that appears to be so prophetic. Delf and Kaz x

Don't read too much into it. It's a cover of a Dion song which he did along with Dylan's Blowing in the Wind, in his earliest folky days.

Marc bolan kewn that he was going to die in a car accident he had already perticted it when he was with John's children i have the Dvd of Marc bolan and the 2 members of John's children are talking about Marc how when they broke down in some country they were waiting for the pick up truck and they played a game and one of the members ask marc how he was going die he replyed in a mini how strange is that

How cool! This song was not a hit at all, it's a very obscure Dion tune. Marc Bolan really was a cool cat - not that we didn't know that before.
@leeflea28747 ай бұрын
Marc didnt actually write this...Dion did..the freakiest thing is that Marc must of heard it and thought 'that predicts my future perfectly' and hurried to record it!

id like them too but as this is a song by dion (not that mainstream a singer), a b-side, and also marc plays it quite differently to the original, i think itll be hard to find. but im working on it!
