I agree. I like mowing the grass. It's very relaxing. I don't tell my wife that. I get to pretend it's a chore for which I get points. I don't think I'd use a reel type mower in bare feet, but whatever.

It's probably just as save as shoes, with shoes the laces could drag your foot in to get chewed up, steel toe boots might help , but otherwise it doesn't matter much
