btw, the trick is in not being 100% perfect in pitch (it would sound robotic) - Freddie's notes weren't "perfect" - for certain notes it is performed with extreme gliding in and out of notes or just momentarily touching the centers of pitch - sometimes approaching, taking the direction to notes, implying to it, is more important compared to achieving the center frequencies .- it is used more in jazz music - but there's certain moment when the singer can do that, where it is suitable - it is about building the patterns and expectations in listener's head to create the suspense from approaching notes

So glad he's playing the keyboard too. With vocals this strong it would be easy to abandon the piano, but then you become just another one of those American/pop idol singers that people like Simon Cowell judge. Playing the piano/keyboard shows you can move outside of pure vocals.

I ve been following Marc since 2017, what I notice about him is he sings the Queen songs as a celebration of the music. I do believe that's why he chosen the name Ultimate Queen Celebration for his band, because he want us to celebrate and not to be sad. Of course he will not sing this song in such an emotion as Freddie did, because 1. Marc is not dying, 2. He was just celebrating the music, and 3. He was in a happy mood while he was singing this song, because he was just waiting for a photo session for his first Spanish single with his wife.
